hello, i am trying to import data from FXCM Metatrader and getting blocked by zero length file. I am using zorro 1.46 freeware. for 2015 and 2016 dates download script worked fine. Please suggest me correct or else manually i have import data in excel and load to zorro.

I don't think that you can import much data from any Metatrader; certainly not from the FXCM Metatrader. Historical data must be downloaded with a direct connection, from FXCM or Oanda dependent on with which one you want to trade.

i have sorted out this issue.for some reason if there is any zero byte bar file for an asset period , data import is its not working. i deleted zero byte files and then it worked for all years what ever data available.. i tried to import 1 min data for all assets mentioned in assets fix from 2009 at a time but it didn't work.. now selecting each asset one by one and importing the data. i tired to back test z1,z8 and z2 systems . i am trying to import US stocks like RDY in to csv and then convert them to daily bar and trying to test them with Z1 and Z2. please let me know whether Z1 and Z2 will work in daily bar for other equity assets also since in manual its mentioned as 4 hr period and for
