I would like to build a machine capable of backtesting a large volume of tick data as fast as possible. Does anyone have suggestions on a starting point or any resources that I can follow? Thanks
Only backtesting or also training? For training get a Ryzen, I7, or I9, with 16 or 32 threads. For only backtesting, the number of threads does not matter, you only need a CPU with high clock rate.
