Is running Z1 and Z2 simultaneously equivalent to running Z12 alone?
The manual says: Z12 is a portfolio of algorithm variants. It conists of two sub-systems: Z1 algos trade on trend reversals, Z2 algos detect market cycles for trading against the trend.

No, it is not. The algos are both from Z1 and Z2, but the capital is now distributed among all algos, so Z1 or Z2 might open trades when Z12 did not, or vice versa.
