Hi
I'm new to the world of shaders, and as a matter of fact to 3DGS. I heard that theres something called normal-mapping and its good to use for FPS to make it look really good. Can someone tell me the basics of normal mapping? How to use it, where and how I should use it, etc. I don't even know what normal mappping is! Do you download it, and it puts normal mapping on my level or something, or do I do it myself?
Please someone help!
P.S I also want to know about water shaders.
