Using ent_purge(entity) and ent_remove(entity) does not remove the memory allocated by the entity. I have 100 very large poly entities that must be viewed in ship selection/ ship viewer function. Level changing is not an option here. My nexus is 100. Any suggestions?
This does not need to be investigated: It's perfectly normal and not a bug. The engine uses a cache that stores loaded entity files to create them faster the next time. Just increase the nexus if you get the 'Nexus too small' message.
