very cool, just what I needed, thanks helmetman.
I've got a parallax mapping shader that makes these look like they dig into the level geometry, but was looking for good bullet hole maps like these. I might put this in a pack to download like my other shader collections next week

Parallax for small bulletholes is overkill . Normalmapping looks good on metal ones though so you get a nice specular.

Yeah I"ve got a working normal mapping bullet hole code too, but as my new project is for next generation games I use parallax mapping as it has a lot more detail and creates a false depth
