I have no idea where to put this is I will post it here, I have compiled and run my game on my computer and then took it around to many others without fail but when I got to my school (yes I got permission to do this) I put it in and it said it found no D3D device....soooo:

1) What is a D3D device?
2) How can I get one in a folder for my published game so that it works on my school's computers (assuming this is software, not hardware)?
3) If 2) is irrelevant then how do I get my software simply to run by fixing or bypassing this problem?

A D3D device is hardware. You need a video card that supports 3D, look at the minimum requirements.

Bummer, I was afraid of that, so your saying there is no possible fix for my school problem? I can just use the laptops there I guess, bum it off of other teachers, should work I guess, dang my school is cheap, oh well, thanks.

Buy graphic cards for your school

Schools almost always have cheap systems. Schools run on tax payers' money so unless you feel like paying extra in taxes (or making a donation), don't count on schools being able to run 3D games. Most stuff in schools that I've seen is only designed for simple 2D educational games, office-related stuff (like word processing, student attendance management, databases, and spreadsheets), or simple 2D graphical art. There are a few exceptions, but these are quite rare cases. You could get a Radeon 7000 (or the equivelent Nvidia card) for under $20. Taking $20 and multiplying it by 30 for a whole computer room and you get $600.

Unforchanatly I am cheap though and I'm not going to be the one to fund my school when I can't fund myself through college so I will have to make due lol that would be great though, what trouble we could get into with a fully equiped computer lab, what fun
