Hello

I have some models which are perfectly textured in Milkshape, CharacterFx
and Ultimate Unwrap 3D but if I import these models in MED then some prtions of the models are not textured (they remain black)
I tried to remap in MED but no improvement at all
Did you come across this kind of problem ?
What shall I do ?

Thanks in advance

Hi Alberto

So you are using 3 programs for texturing a model? if you use only unwrap3d,
he should be enough, however if you want could send me a model, so I could help you better,
I personally doesn't use unwrap3d more, now use ac3d that he allows you to use many types of texture and export the model in 3ds format in MED.

greet

maybe it´s an error in your mesh. normally, all face backsides in MED are disabled, so they turn black/invisible (whatever). or it´s just a welding mistake so that the model is wrongly shaded... use blender, it´s the best.

Thanks

It is a human character in .3ds file format
Left arm is textured correctly, right arm it is not ( some parts remain black)
I mirrored the left arm to replace the right one
It is ok
No problem however if I upload the original model in MilkShape and CharacterFx
