Hello, I just put two terrain mesh .hmps next to one another, and everything is good except for the shadow on the left one, I am not sure how to get rid of it. I dont need light for this at all, so can I turn off the whole kaboodle? Have the two meshes have the same light?

Thanks for all help,
thegamedesigner.

You could set the "unlit" flag in both terrains properties in WED.

Also try including the material.wdl in your project for realtime light adjustments-once youve set it up you can fiddle with ambient, diffuse + spec light values just by hitting the M key + cursors- your terrain will automatically be assigned the mat_terrain material unless youve given it special mat of your own.

Apart from that, dont know.

That picture is of the meshs with unlit on. I will try fiddling materials, but it seems like I need less, not more. That shadow on the left one, running down the line, the whole difference in light, it seems like I should turn something off.

thanks
