Alright as a start off game im going to make a FPS. I have absolutely no knowledge on how to do this but this is something I'd like to learn how to do. Provide absolutely any tip u got Scripting-wise and what not for me to do. Remember im a noob and feeble minded so yeah.. Also some questions I have

1. I used pre-fabs to make a a room and whatnot but how do i seal that room off like as in actual room with the items i put on the grid using prefabs. Also how do I put a door on that room so the character can walk in and out of it.

2. How do I first of all get a character? Like the one on the Tech.wmb demo, I want one like that... I'll also use a pre-fab character so I dont have to make my own and go through all that animation mumbo jumbo.. I'll deal with that later..

3. How do I put tiles on the ground in rooms so I can give it the decor of an actual room.

Thanks If I have any more questions I'll post them in here, help would be greatly appreciated. I also did read the manual but it was very hard for me to understand and I didnt get enough thorough information in it to do what I just asked above. Thanks again.

You can add a script to entity by clicking right on a entity. This will show you a new menue. Now click on behavior and select a action.

A bit concise but time is short.
Put player model in folaer and use 'add model'
right click on model. select behaviour, action 'player move'
Build and run your level. All questions should be resolved.

Okay Ive gotten that far but like when I open up actions in behaviours there is no actions to click on.. Why?

You have to first add a main script (file/map properties), like _A6_template_project.wdl... copy and rename... and edit the file paths in the beginning of that script.

I got you up to ther edit file paths.. How do you do that?

I think you have to open it in notepad... and remember to use C:\\folder\\folder -two \ instead of one.

Can someone please thoroughly explain how to do this because nothing is working.. It doesn't seem like it should be something that would be so hard.. Please I'd really appreciate it..
