Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to do an alpha mask? Here is an example:

The black and white one would act as the alpha mask; everything that is dark would show through; everything that is light would be invisible; and greys would be in-between. Is there a way to do this with maybe code or something? I noticed in the template there are 2 files for the bullet hole image, one is the actual picture and the other one is the alpha inverse of it but i couldn't find anywhere in the code where it used them. Thanks for the help.

why don´t you just copy the b&w pic as a alpha channel into the coloured one? save as a 32bit tga. no need for code.

I have an a4 commercial edition and I don't think it supports the tga format; even if it did support it, how do you make a file like that ( in detail ) with Photoshop 6 or CorelDraw?

i´m not sure if A4 supports tga format. test it.
open up both pics in photoshop, select the b&w one with ctrl/a. copy it with ctrl/c to the clipboard. select the coloured pic, open the layers menu, change to channels and add a new alpha channel. now select this channel and press ctrl/v to insert the b&w one into the channel. save this pic as 32bit tga. here we go.

I just figured out that A4 doesn't support .tga files. Is there another way to do this? Any help is good since i have been posting about this for several weeks. Thanks
