Hi, I'm new to 3D-Gamestudio and I was wondering if it would be possible to use my milkshape models and maps in 3D-Gamestudio. I noticed it merely takes anything but .mdl files which, unfortunately, I can't export from milkshape. Is there any plugin for milkshape or a way to use other model structures in 3D-Gamestudio?

3dgs can import the Milkshape ASCII format...though I prefere Fragmotion as artwork pipeline to 3dgs

gameSpace light is pretty good. Rather buggy but easier than milkshape IMHO. Just save your work every few steps of the way and you'll be fine. gSl is free. milkshape is 20 bucks. I didn't like how in milk shape I constantly had to click the button over and over again to do something that should be continous.. It became very prohibitive.

But to each his own, just offering my advice.

Well I already have milkshape and I'm quite familiar with it, I've been using it for 2 years now with DarkBasic Pro.
I found out that MED can import MilkShape formats yes, but I was looking in WED only before I posted, thanks

I seem to have stumbled upon a problem while importing models though. Whenever I import a model it asks me to locate its texture however, most models have more than just one texture. Also, if I change my view to textured it does not show any textures at all. I have no clue how this works, so if someone would be kind enough to help me,, I'd appreciate it.

Hmm well isn't there a way to use milkshape models?
All I want is to use them with textures imported as well, since the animation imports just fine...
