Hello,
After I switch on the computer and loaded WED, suddenly the 3D Vieuw bahaves strange; it shows no textures anymore, only wireframes. Even when I use F5-F7; F5 Wire frame: shows bright white wireframe, F6 Solid: shows white wireframe, F7 Textured: shows light green wireframe. I have reinstalled the whole program (updated to 6.40,5) incuded the templates, did not help.
Has someone an idea how this is possible?

thats what its suposed to do... include ur WAD file, and make sure u actually textured your geometry...

@Xpresso No, it did not solve the problem.
@Rad Daddy No, that is not what it supposed to do. Yes, the WAD file was included. Yes, the geometry was textured.

You mean; File -> Preferences -> Key ? Wire Frame; F5 (is default) Flat; F6 (is default) Textured; F7 (is default)
Textured Mapped ????? That I can't find.
I saw by preferences a tab called Icons, not documented. On the tab a selectionbox called; Use skin (on) in the filebox; wedicons.pcx There is no such file 'wedicons.pcx' on my harddisk.
Is this a new tab, because I can't find it in my previous version.

MED works fine, the problems I have are in WED. (In MED the function keys are F6, F7 and F8) It looks like Something else has come to my attention; when I set in the script: var video_screen=1; //1=full screen, 2=window does not work anymore, it starts up in a window and I can only change it with Alt+Enter. And when I use Camera Position (red line with red and green square) I noticed that the squares are reduced to dots. I have reinstalled the whole program (that is 3D GameStudio) again, did not help. Just use the menus like I almost always do. Check to make sure the option is selected. Also, make sure you don't have GXLBASE.DLL selected as the video out.

Problem solved! When I look in the manual there are 2 .dll for rendering library; a. gxlbase.dll b. gxl2dx8a.dll
but I can choose out of 4; a. gxlbase.dll b. gxl2dx8a.dll c. gxl2dx8.dll d. gxl2bas32.dll
The fact was that d. was selected (why I don't know, I did not selected it) in stead of b.
May be it has to do with the fact that my computer was 'freezed' when I tried out the 'NoReturn' application. I lost my preferences too when I had to reset my computer.
