Well, after playing around with lights and shadows I got a result which isn't acceptable.



How can I improve the shadowmap, that the shadows look smoother?

- Select "smooth" in the texture tab, and/or
- Scale the texture down (0.5 instead 1.0 makes the shadowmap detail 4 times higher)
- Buy pro and select hi-res for shadow during map-compiling
- use instead of one light an array of lights (with less light intensity) to create an antialiased shadowmap

If you are making block levels, perhaps changing the tessellate options in weds
map compiler may also help.
