Add a position and set it. Another method is to set the position through script after the level_load instruction.

This is illegal, if you didn't know that. The trial period is 30 days only starting the moment you install it (download?). If you don't use it at all for the first 3 weeks, that's your fault. If all else, get the $50 standard edition. You can almost always sell your version if you don't want it, or, if you do want it, upgrade to a higher edition.

its not illege to restart windows i do it evry 60 days so if they dont want people getting 30 day trial again they should remove it
i would restart to get it agin if i need to
besides 30 days is not long anoth to test it some people can only get on there pc a bout 2 hours a day my mate only gets 1 hour so he restarts al the time
so 3d game stuido should find a way to stop it like theres a floder what the os is installed on if they put a file in there to check the 30 days it will be fine
or some password install thing or something to stop it

If you read the license agreement, you'll see that extending the trial beyond 30 days is not legal. I've even read posts from Conitec officials saying that extending the trial is illegal.

This is true, however 3dgamestudio is not windows, and therefore, the same renewal rules do not apply.

why...?

I agree, because when I started my trial, I only got through one room before the trial was up.

In some ways, I feel the demo is simply to reassure people that they are getting what they paied for. Regardless of weather they are able to use every feature it offers in 30 days, it reassures you that this is a decent program, and that its worth what I am paying.

As far as stopping people from using the demo over 30 days... you really cant. Once you reinstall windows, there isnt any way for the computer to know what used to be on it. Also, a password from conitec wouldnt work because even if conitec did monitor how many days you have been using the demo, it would be boarderline illegal (i think) for them to remotely disable software on your computer... and if you stayed offline, they couldnt do it anyways.

In the end, it depends on the honor system... some argue its dead. However, its out there... somewhere.

Thank you for all of you helpful posts every one its given me a new look on this situation. Iam starting the second level of this 3d game studio *scripting* Only problem is i havent really created much and every thing i did i couldnt save and when i did it was gone... The $200 has already been sent and we cant get it back now because the check was cashed and to make things worse ive only got a few hours left.... the class isn't intill anoth month or so. Iam not sure what to do... some ppl say its not that hard aslong as you know the basics so what are the basics standard wise? Your opionions would be greatly accepted censeirly Hopeless N33B AKA Dur Corp Boss Mathew =P
