I have been looking into two different shader languages, Cg and HLSL. I am not necessairly asking which is better (although opinions on the matter are welcome), but are they both supported by 3D Gamestudio? I know that HLSL is, so really what im asking is if Cg is supported? Thank you.

CG is not native to A6 or DirectX .. However, all the major high level shader languages are very similar, and you can convert a CG shader to HLSL very easily. Often they have almost the same syntax. Some inherent function names may be different... but they should have the same functionality.

Basically they are all just based on C.

Ok thanks Matt, I am going to start looking into HLSL first then. I will get into conversions later, after I have a little better understanding of shaders in general.
