3.4 version? A3 was around the early 1990's. I think you mean 6.4. Yeah, it's been released to the public now. MED still has bugs in it, but they are only minor ones. I helped take care of the two big crashers in MED. The only thing to take note of is SED. SED is extremely slow in loading. In the older 6.31 version, it takes about 9 seconds (still rather long, but acceptable) to load my 31,000-line script (and it's going on about 700 KB). It takes just shy of 2 minutes to load the same script in 6.4 - extremely slow, about 13 times longer. Even for a script of just 1500 lines, I already notice it taking a considerable amount of time to load. The cursor also is less friendly when it comes to editting copied and pasted content in that it doesn't remember the column it was last on. 6.31.4 had this more user-friendly cursor behavior. I've mentioned to fix it several times and nothing is being done about it for some reason.
I'm constantly swapping back and forth between 6.31.4 and 6.40.5 (I made about 120 runs of the two update programs since the half-year of the first public beta). I make big modifications to the scripts in 6.31.4, and make minor changes in 6.40.5. For WED and MED, I always use 6.40.5 as I don't see any big flaws with WED and MED in 6.40.5.
