Hi,

I want my player to trace forward looking for walls using trace.
But the temp coordinates seems to use the world coordinates.
The trace line isnt always tracing forwards from the players view.

I dont understand why, beaucose I used vec_set.
Maybe someone knowes more.

code:

vec_set(temp, my.x);
temp.x += 100;
trace_mode = IGNORE_ME + IGNORE_PASSABLE + IGNORE_MODELS + IGNORE_SPRITES;
trace_wall = trace (my.x, temp);
if(trace_wall != 0)
{
beep();
trace_wall = 0;
}

Thank you,
