hi, when using a physics entity for the ball and a normal polygon entyity for the trail the ball is falling thru the hole and rolling down the trail. but when i use a physics entity for the trail, too, the ball is falling thru the hole and then stucking . what can be done to avoid this?



actually the trail needs to be a physicsobject.

Is the origin of the trail placed right (in the middle of the trail) ?
Have you tried to increase the mass and played around with ph_check_distance, ph_fps_max_lock, ph_setcontacts + ph_setcorrections?

no, the origin is where the ball falls into the trail. this is because i need to rotate the trail around that position

i didnt check those: ph_check_distance, ph_fps_max_lock, i'll do so

ph_setcontacts + ph_setcorrections, didnt help

I'm guessing your using a model as the track thing? If you are... I don't think you'll get it to work. Level blocks would be your best bet Ide say.

in that case, you may tell me how to create a physics object out of blocks?

A Map-Entity should do the job.
