based from what i've heard gumby22don, pro aint that big of a step up. I tried having a large amount of data run locally, and it seems to work fine. I even have movement working nicely, and running local. Of course this is insecure since people could hack this, but in game like guild wars, where when u reach a main town all u can really do is walk around and stuff like that this will work great. In my unprofessional opinion the only kind of MMORPG that is really possible with 3dgs is a guild wars like game. But dont take my word for it i'm just a newbie.

This thought had occured to me too. I was chewing a similar idea in my head. With a hosted server that held character profiles to prevent cheating and some sort of LFG system that would give you a server ip to connect to run a dungeon or something. I haven't quite got the entire idea mapped out but, but i think it could be a workable idea.
