I've noticed that when the camera gets a certain distance away from a textured surface, the textures blur/dither, obviously to improve performance. Trouble is my game is 3rd person with a far away camera meaning that all the textures are horribly low quality-looking.
Does anyone know of a way to turn this off or adjust the range at which it occurs?

I'm not sure about turning it on/off, but it is called MIP MAPPING. Maybe there is something in the manual (I can't look now because I am at work) or on this forum.

Mip_flat=0;
mip_shaded=0;

Put those in the main action and you will no longer get mip mapping.
