Genius are people who devote all their attention to solving some mind blowing problem, often at the expense of the everyday reality around them. This behaviour is far more typical of men than women. Is that so? I grew up in a region that had more women than men. Certainly, men are more likely to die young than women, even in times of peace (and women live longer). Women get the strongest survival genes.
