you re right ralph, but many of them have a limit like downspeed or have tickets.there you can wait minutes... 
I think waiting for 10 minutes and get a steady 250kb/s download speed is quite acceptable, even for downloads exceeding 1 GB, downloadtimes are relatively acceptable and that while it remains free.
If this site is getting popular enough, download qeues are inevitable if you want to keep things free.
