Looking very cool Kihaku! Keep up the good stuff. One thing I noticed is that the rotation is slightly off at certain angles, perhaps try tracing a bit further in front of the player (depending on it's direction a bit more to the right or a bit more to the left of the center of the player). I think this could 'fix' the fact that the player is facing too much downwards when almost getting of a slope (like near the end of the movie). There's a bit of a delay I think that could be fixed with tracing 1 or 2 quants in front of the model and check that normal, perhaps interpolate between the normal received at the center of the player and in front of the player? @Pappenheimer: Quote:
I don't believe in this sort of self-motivation.
In this case faith and confidence play a huge role, if you don't believe in self-motivation, then self-motivation won't work. Sounds like a cliché maybe, but it's a psychological thing.
Quote:
"lazyness" is a result, not a reason!
If you tell yourself it's a reason, a reason it is. But I don't think Kihaku is actually lazy, because he seems to have little trouble producing something. Not finishing something is usually not lazyness, but lack of motivation. If you were lazy, you wouldn't have started eventhough you knew your ideas are awesome!
Cheers

I really like the shadow puppet style of Angelas World, I think its an artistic style which really creates a dark fairy tale atmosphere and a style that I cant remember any game using. Keep up the good work and more of this style please. Also, if you have not seen them before, check out Michel Gagne's "Insanely Twisted Shadow Puppets" animations. A game with that kind of animation would be amazing. http://www.gagneint.com/Final%20site/insanelytwisted.com/main.htm

it would be cool if it could have a little bit of the locoroco touch. i mean it looks a little like locoroco just dark and black. so a cute alive world with much action but i think you'll handle that. while most of the things are black you can play with forms and shapes. suprisingly small plants could grow or alter their shape do other things. i'm looking forword to it
Coming along nicely
