I had the same bug, but hesitated to reply because I overwrote the "savepoint" by restarting the game with clicking "new game". Restarting at that "savepoint" shut the engine down, too.
To keep it short: (Sorry, mainly critics for now!)
- the level is too dark, it needs a higher ambient, or more lights. Often it is difficult to see where to go and to see the enemies or scientists. - my "brother" shot the scientiest - more than one time - when we joined the scientist to ask questions. - the walk animation of the brother is a bit funny, too short steps!
There are a lot things which are very well made, and a lot that fit together very nicely, but the mentioned issues weakens the impression of the game and the set of tools.

DaBro0zar, we wanted to create a demo that was able to be played on most PC's. But the main difference between Half Life and Mother's Den, is we put Mother's Den together with no programming And everyone here will be able to do the same for any type of game Mondivirtuali, We have this fixed, and we are fixing a few other bugs and we will be releasing the patch tomorrow. Thank you all for helping in this stage, everything that is fixed in this demo is being fixed in our Intense X package. Thanks Again, Brad Grimm

I would just like to apologize for the crash everyone is experiencing. You are only half way though the demo at this point, and I can assure you the best part is yet to come We will have this fixed for you tomorrow. Thanks again, Brad Grimm

@Larry: I think I'm quite positive to say, yes my graphic card allows it because these are his specs : GeForce EN7950 GX2: Graphics Bus Technology PCI Express Memory 1GB (512MB per GPU) Memory Interface 512-bit Memory Bandwidth (GB/sec) 76.8 Fill Rate (Billion pixels/sec) 24 Vertices/second (Billion) 2.0 Pixels per clock (peak) 48 RAMDACs (MHz) 400 And I'm also positive to say that I'm able to play other games in the resolution 1280x1024 and more Cheers Frazzle
