I have 3d max bipeds (animated) (i.e. cal 3D files). Can they be imported into GS Pro 6.31.4? If so, what is the workflow? please email me at bordnick@uga.edu. thanks
MAX files can not be directly imported (because .MAX is not a real file format). However you can export them to X and import them this way, or you can use the MAX to MDL plugin. However, better update to 6.50. The import filters of 6.50 are a lot better than those of 6.31.
what are the steps to do this converson. I have purchased 100 avatars with animation to use in GS that are in 3dmax bipeds and they say they are cal 3d files. How to I convert them to mdl for use in GS and will the animation still work.
