Why ?? Well see for yourself:

  • Max has an advanced smoothing system
  • Max has more texture options like pelt mapping
  • Max has got a texture/shadow baking system
  • Max uses scripts
  • Max uses the nurbs modeling system
  • ...


Not that I dislike med, it's a nice prgram and much more users friendly and med is less pricy
But I think you get the point.
