The reason you don't get the same window as described in the tutorial is that you're using an ancient tutorial written for A4. Things have changed for A6, so you'd better not use such an old tutorial. Be sure to check the 3DGS Wiki and, of course, 3DGS's homepage. Also, this might be worth a look.
