Is that supposed to be carbon fiber on the wing, and front, and side splitter/diffuser of the car? if so the pattern is to large, and the "white" is to white (on the carbon fiber, not the car) Any ways progress looks great, Cant wait to try the physics in action
Yes, that was supposed to be carbon fiber, and yes, its too large. But I just wasnt able to find a decent carbon fiber texture. I was too lazy to read a tutorial about how to create a decent carbon texture, but I will fix that. Thankyou for point this.
No, by now I only have the Extra Edition, planning upgrade to commercial soon. I also would like to add a cube mapping to the car body and maybe some bump/specular mapping to the track.
But I will by now care about finish the source code and have all models / tracks ready, and look into shaders after that, I never used it and will have to learn.
And the car is already running in the track, with some little problems to fix, but is working already. I thought that the white colour to the car body makes it something fat, So I tested it with black colour also. Here are some test screenshots :
