Check with Video out library you are using with MED - maybe there's the cause for your problem. The setting is under Preferences / Video.
Yes I know about how to fix the associations but as stated above they are correct which makes the C:\documents error very strange....
I can only assume you are referring to A6's MED? Because I cant check it with Lite C's Med it it wont load...
I'll try the above uninstalling and deleting registry once again for the 4th time.
and check those video video out library you mentioned and post back.
