You must review the differences between features per edition and make your choice. The render to texture is a feature available only in GameStudio Professional. In the future perhaps the render to texture feature will make it to the commercial edition. However, because in the past a lot of the Pro owners where angry about their version almost had no difference with commercial I don't think it will be anytime soon.

i think, that render to texture is in PRO because never will buy PRO if this feature be in COMM (without people who want distribute game) . its only marketing. and i think ,that people do some plugin with lite-c(as render-to-texture dll).

If I understand this correctly; A7 comes with lite-C, but does it also support C-script?

I like to keep scripting simple, life is hard enough as it is.
