While we (Conitec) would love everybody to upgrade to A7 (and buy copies for their friends too ), we are not going to force anybody to do it.

If A6 does everything you want, use it. We still have A5 users around (mostly because it runs well on very old hardware).

Also, don't buy A7 until it does want you want (never base your purchase on the "forecast" page). If your current project doesn't need the faster rendering kernel or Lite-C, you might not need to upgrade (at least not right away).

It's Conitec's job to make a new product that makes you want to update.
