I had diffuculty with it at first, but i'm not a scripter by trade, but lion_ts gave me awesome support above and beyond the call of duty, and now the first beta demo of strip mini-golf is packed and on my website. I cannot say enough about the support you get for this program, it's the best i've ever seen.

thats awesome! i hope i can get started soon. i am still kinda puzzled how to use it, i downloaded the stuff that was on the website, but i didnt see the cr pack, just some demos and stuff like that. is the cred tool and the cr pack the same? did you have problems like that?

It all comes as one download. Practice remaking the demos before installing your support keys. If you run into serious problems, he goes out of his way to try and help you, just remember his native tounge is not english.

i will try to get it working before i ask for support. i looked at the help file, it didnt really seem too difficult. i just have to fix a couple of issues with my levels and i should be ready to give the cr pack a try.

ok, now that i fixed my issues. one question, i feel silly asking. what files do i pack to make a complete game project? do i pack only published files? you know, when you finish the levels and publish them, do i put all of the published levels all in one folder, then use the cred tool? not really sure how to put my game together. any advice will be great.

Hello,
cred tool doesn't support subfolders in an archive; so you must pack your files in one or more 'flat' archives (packages). Look at the demo#3 sources, for example. It includes 3 packages: one with logo images, one with level file in plain text format and another one with the rest (models, shaders, compiled level and so on). You can plan your packages in different way: split files by game levels, for example; or you can make one big package.

ok, so if i wanted to make on big package, do i just compile all the files of the level, like the .cd when you publish, then put all of the exe's together in one folder, then publish again with the cred tool? i will look at the example when i get home tonight.

yes, compress all needed files (models, shaders, wmb levels and so on) into one package, change your c-script to properly load your resources at runtime and publish your project in wed. after that, inspect your .cd folder and remove all unwanted files (models, shaders, wmb levels,... you compressed). I tryed to show this process in the video tutorial

thanks for the speedy response. i still dont understand. ok, say i have all exe's for every level i created for my game. i watched the video tut, very nice by the way. i saw that it was done in a different way. i see how you did it for one level, but can i use this for a multi level project? i have a wdl that contains all of the necessary scripts for my game, including menu and includes for all of the levels. i also have all of my levels completed, but not published yet, until i am sure i have to do it that way to compile them into one package. is this possible to do? i am just not sure how to use this? and do i have to create a dummy level for all of my wdl's that are not levels?
