With plugins, money, and time, yes...
But I'd recommend you check out the demo and mess with that. And check out the galleries, and forums for more info/screens...

Well , never made comparative tests but I dont think that the situation is in these terms otherwise it would not make any sense to use 3dgs When people claim that 3gds is graphically outdated they refer to details Ok, I am more gameplay oriented ...

And if you are starting a career, then 3DGS is the BEST way to start. If you one day decide that it is lacking your needs, and your skills surpass it, then you should upgrade. But I 100% recommend starting with 3DGS...

I would have to agree with Scorpion. I have worked with many different engines, and our company tends to always fall back on 3dgs, as it is one of the most powerful engines for its price
