Hi, I'am a member of the ASP. Actually a paying member too! Woo, Ha, Ha!!! Anyways, make a PAD file and join the ASP. You can see my PAD file at the link below. http://www.noahsadventures.com/downloads/Noah.xmlNow, since my game PAD link is in their database, then hundreds and hundreds of sites read my PAD file and know everything about the game. They know it's for kids, it costs $13.99 and what requirements are needed to run it. It's all in the Almighty PAD file. Get with it people. <just joking> I get notices all the time in my e-mail. You know, we found your game and site and PAD format and we now carry your title and blah, blah, blah... We gave you a 5 star rating or whatever.

did it work that well for you ran man?
No, not really. I lost money on Noah 1.
But the new "Noah 2" game title is ten times more fun than Noah 1 was, so I think I should stay with the ASP and then see how that one works.
If the new Noah 2 won't sell as shareware, then nothing will.

... I'm not sure if it's a good idea to let sites like for example gamespot judge our games. I'm convinced that if sites like gamespot give low scores to 3dgs games (which they will do almost without exception) that it will influence sales.
In all honesty, my first impression with the A6 engine through some of the demo games and the walkthrough I downloaded from this site just about had me walk away and take my cash towards Torque instead. This may be a strange way of putting it, but a lot of the 3DGS games out there *look* like 3DGS games. No wonder Gamespot would rate them poorly. Don't get me wrong... it's great there's a game engine out there with scripting/templates/dll expansion capabilities (exactly what I needed), but with that ease and flexibility also comes the greater possibility of some shoddy looking games released by folks who don't dedicate enough time, learning, and effort towards the project.
My opinion of the engine changed 180 degrees and for the better after I saw what was done with Daemonica (via screenshots) and some of the recent contest winners. If you're going to be serious in the game business, use models for everything. Go beyond templates. Get away from the typical 3DGS look. Graphics in a game can make or break it, even with solid gameplay and a stable engine.
Just m' opinion. Appologies if I veered off-topic a bit too much.

Don't bother and better stop sharing those links, the casual game publisher list is pretty bad researched... most of the sites listed are subdivisions or satellites of the major distributors. if you are able to contract Big Fish, PlayFirst, PopCap, Real and Oberon you have all front end game portals covered. normally 2-3 out of these distributors are enough to cover at least 2 thirds of the world wide casual games market.
