Hi folks

I currently own a copy of A6. The license isn't Commericial, I think its Pro (if Pro is one step up from the lowest level license).

As an established customer, will I have the chance to get A7 at a reduced cost?

Also, will A7 run under Windows XP? I still have to check out the graphics card requirements, but I think I'm ok.

extra is the edition after standard, the lowest level. professional is the highest level.

It has also mutated into other strains like, trip hop, house, rap, gangster, and conscious forms. Once you are infected with it, its with you for life."

Open up WED and select "About..." for your version number.

A7 will support XP and Vista.

Will it also continue to run under Windows 2000? I assume yes, but I thought I would ask. Thanks.

JCL is the only one that can give the final specs but, AFAIK, the current beta of A7 runs under Win2000 so its a good bet that the first release will too.

The issue is, Microsoft stopped supporting new features for Win2000 in 2005. So if a feature or bug we run into would require a Win2000 update we're out of luck.

A7 will still support 98 SE, ME, 2000, XP, and Vista - although 98 SE and ME is not really recommended.

We already have some issues with Windows98 with the latest version of A6.

I think all of these have been related to sound and video card drivers but, unfortunately, there really isn't much we can do about it since almost nobody is fixing bugs in Win98 drivers.

It definitely won't run with Windows98 - only 98 SE.
