If you want to have full control over sales etc, then go as PhemoX says but otherwise if you are confident that its good enough, then you should try mailing your demo to the portals, publishers and they can get it out there ..good luck !
I like good 'views' because they have no 'strings' attached..

Spread your game by making a (time-limited?) demo and upload it to the gazillion download portals out there. Release press info, write emails about your game to online magazines (be prepared for the fact that some magazines really don't give a [censsoreed] about your game and won't even respond).
Just about my idea... I'm close to finishing my game. I think I'll be going for a site with google ads and a doantion button, but the game itself will be available for free. In order to get this to work, I need to make the game get known, but didn't have much luck with the game portals I tried up to now. So I'd really like to have some good addresses where I reach plenty of possible users.
If you have such a list, would you mind to share it? Thanks in advance.
