When it runs, enter the path for your 3DGS folder, usually:
C:\Program Files\GStudio6\

Hypothetically <ahem> Speaking: What if I wanted to move all of my info for 3DGS to a new folder? Could I just move it all? What if (even more hypothetically), the folder that contains 3DGS was accidently used as a storage place for other programs, making figuring out which folder/data file is 3DGS or this other program difficult. Will this make a diffrence? Can I channel the update so that 3DGS ends up in a new folder?

If I am posting, it probably means I am asking a question. Or faking my knowledge by agreeing with somebody else.

Nope...

It's an update, not an install. It simply updates certain files, but not all of them...

If you're worried about the update, then you can make a copy of your 3dgs folder. You can have seperate installs, since 3DGS doesn't depend on the registry... The only problem you might have with this is shortcuts (to WED, MED, SED), as you'll have to keep track of which ones point to which version...

Thanks, but can I somehow reinstall 3DGS? Recently, things have been really wacking out with WED and SED.
For example: The following is an attempted run of the techdemo. Since when is "camera.ambient" an unrecognized keyword?

I haven't updated yet, as I am afraid it will make it worse somehow. What can I do!? I can't do anything in SED or WED that remotely involves running. If I run a level that has no script attached, (I.E., a level with a single simple square) I get:

What does that mean!?! "In main:"? As in, the source code was altered?! Augh! Somebody, please help. And any other attempt to do something (E.X. Pressing "0" to scroll through level) prompts a new error. Also, I have seemingly lost the ability to apply scripts to levels that I amke that are new, as the putton to choose script/new script are grayed out.
