Can I somehow reinstall 3DGS? Recently, things have been really wacking out with WED and SED.
For example: The following is an attempted run of the techdemo. Since when is "camera.ambient" an unrecognized keyword?

I haven't updated yet, as I am afraid it will make it worse somehow. What can I do!? I can't do anything in SED or WED that remotely involves running. If I run a level that has no script attached, (I.E., a level with a single simple square) I get:

What does that mean!?! "In main:"? As in, the source code was altered?! Augh! Somebody, please help. And any other attempt to do something (E.X. Pressing "0" to scroll through level) prompts a new error.

Also, I have seemingly lost the ability to apply scripts to levels that I make that are new, as the button to choose script/new script are grayed out.

Basically, I can't do anything. What is the problem? How can I fix it? And let me assure you, I am almost 100% positive that my version is legal.

If I am posting, it probably means I am asking a question. Or faking my knowledge by agreeing with somebody else.

Thanks, Tompo. That solves the stupid "I can't apply scripts" problem. But it still doesn't mean that the other problemas aren't still occuring.

@xXxGuitar511: Aw, my GameStudio Version. That is part of the problem. I got this awhile ago, and then let it sit, so i have no idea. Wait... I found it.

Here: GameStudio Commercial 6.31.4/WED V6.269. Then some copyright stuff. Not sure what that means, though.

I'm not stupid. I did build it. And that was just an example. You want more? Here:

Ah! Nicely compiled... Now lets run.

(This is no longer the techdemo. It is a single block with the A6 Template Script applied. What happens to the techdemo at runtime is displayed in my first image up above, in my starter post.)

Oops. Well, maybe something else won't happen?

Nope. Ah, well. Next we are presented with the black screen of death. maybe we can look around our completly black world (by pressing "0")? Nope, all we get is an error. It Proclaims: Error E1513. Crash in _tog_mov: _camera+=1.

Does anyone know what to do?

Does your system meet the requirements for 3DGS?

DirectX 9.0c
etc...

How do I know my DirectX level? And the GameStudio used to work, it just doesn't work now.

Go to your Start menu, select "Run...", and type "dxdiag". This will pull up the DirectX Diagnostic window. Towards the bottom of the window is where your DirectX version is displayed.

If it isn't 9.0, You are going to have issues.

Code:
void main()
{
    cout << "I am MrCode,";
    cout << "hear me roar!";
    system("PAUSE");
}

I checked. DirectX version 9.0c. The best, excluding the new DirectX 10.0.
