high poly... 3dgs has a maximum of triangles can display at the one time...
maybe (but I don't think so) your models have to much poly?
Second... try skinned it... just in some colour
Third... check the normals... sometimes when you import from 3ds the models have wrong normals and then they are invisible.
Try all this things and put your model to 3dgs and put a start position.
