Thanks MaxF. This tool looks very good. It provides an easy way of changing a character model (via body templates and mesh based).

The price of 238.00 is ok.

The problem that I have with this software is:
If you want to use it low-poly then you have to buy an extra low-poly access plug-in. And this is offered for 358.80
This is even more expensive as the main program and it just allows the access to the base low-poly mesh.

I find this a strange policy. But maybe they want to protect their base meshes this way. Only good customers can use the base mesh all the other ones get high-poly smoothed meshes that have to be used as it.

When you want to buy additional body packs then you can even spend 1000 $ for all of it.

I would get it, but the pricing is to much when it all adds up!

It's a complete piece of crap , downloaded the Demo , and it's pretty useless , the models arent really that good , and their high poly , and even like that they look so so , and you can only make regular people , so I guess if you were to need a ton of regular looking people for a game it would be worth a second look. But seriously , the models it creates arent even that good , just have a look at their demo videos , they all look like strange plastic people , and they only include so many models , i think 4 , not sure , whcih you can use to morph more characters , but if you want more varied characteristics then you have to buy extra models , it's all a big pile of trash. They do offer a demo to try it out before you buy though , so anyone interested can get a good idea of what the program has to offer , but in my opinion , it's pretty much useless for most type of video games.

Again, you are not able to find sensible and smart words to describe what you want to describe. But I know you can do it better:

This sounds much better and appropriated for a public forum.

This software is not crap. It is a really advanced and powerful piece of software. It might be that it does not fit your needs and I agree with you that models are not really good from an artists view. But they did a good job and the tools to change models are amazingly simple and powerful at the same time. In the right hands this tool can be very powerful.

The pricing is strange and base models are not excellent. But again - it is no crap nor trash.

I have to say I agree , the program itself is not bad , but aside from the models not being very high quality for the polycounts my biggest problem with the program is lack of diversity , it looks like it could be usefull for someone that needs a lot of people models , but if your looking for monsters or anything else out of the norm then there's little to no reason at all for purchasing the program. There's an old piece of software called Creature Creator which is a similar type of software but allows for creation of a lot more creative creatures or humanoids, and even though Creature Creator is extremely nice , it has it's flaws as well , like not having any clothes for the humanoids , no textures , and other things that dont come to mind at the moment. So I've come to the conclusion that there's really no program that will fit a developers needs for models , other than either learning to make them ourselves , getting a modeler to join the dev team , or paying someone to make them. In any case , whats your infatuation with me Frank ? Find something else to do and stop worrying about the nature of my posts or comments , you are not a moderator so how is what I post on here any of your business ?

lol, It's nice to see you two not fighting. While you both have your own opinions, you've found a common ground.

I'm gonna try and check out this demo this weekend.

For 200 bucks range, I'd buy Mudbox rather than those Poser like softwares.
