I do think small things can have huge impacts, even if it's just a glass of poison in the Mississippi river. Basically all life is connected through the food chain, so changing one thing will or could have an impact on other things.

I'm not sure if humans caused these huge and ongoing environmental and climatic changes, although we absolutely can't deny the fact that we are influencing our environment negatively.
