hey cool i tried it...but i am not 100% hapyy with it

the cam dont work correct, as example if u have one portal on the top direct under the player and one on the wall and u look through the one at the wall the cam moving is a bit confusing...

and you can't go throguth portals on the bottom (the blue sprite is also wrong)

,but that are smaller things, really like it
if u now use a tga and some particle effects it will look great

(now i know why u asked for placing blood at the wall^^)

I'll check cameras ang in horizontal pos
But You may go thru portal if it's on the floor

Nice version, the mirror option is a great idea
But sometimes the reflection isn't 100% at his optimal use but the was a well know issue when using the template reflection.
Just look at this screenie:

Another remark is that when I shoot the portal at the floor and not at a wall, the first "pre portal" is being projected 90° facing off the ground, when I shoot a second time, the "real" portal is being projected against the floor as it should be, just look at the screenie:

But beside these errors, it's still a nice project tompo

just a comment: wouldn't it be better to move the cam relly instead of just change the angle...becasue then it CAN'T look real..i guess

edit: i had today my confirmation and got the PRO
i guess ill try it,too(as everybody else who have the pro ;P)

there is no reflection etc... it's just a bmap with changing alpha
It's more about the engine not great looking
I'm a veeeeery baaaaaad "artist"

Sry I can't release the code , but for true results you need to use a special shader that render the portal-cam in viewspace...

I'm working on my portal system [Which is now better than Josiah's ]...

You'll see some vids comming soon...
