Just when I was getting ready to go through another FPS tutorial for GS.. 
I checked out WinterMute and, well - - it looks exactly like what I would need
to realize my game. The level demo is pretty awesome.
I'm gonna have to check this engine out before I proceed with learning GS.
I really appreciate your suggestions!
