should you keep modeling ? Well if you like it, then yes , if not , then no. Everyone starts with boxes and basic buildings or objects , and move on from there. There's numerous tutorials around you can use to learn , as well as some professional training DVDs which you can buy which are extremely good , the commercial dvds might be a bit on the expensive side (usually over $50) , but if your serious about learning modeling they are well worth the money. Here are some links. http://www.cg-academy.net/pages/topic_mo...g_advanced1.phphttp://smartflix.com/store/video/1524/Modeling-for-GamesAnd there's a million others around , you can also find free tutorials around , there's also 3D Buzz , check them out , they have all the Unreal Technology Video Training Modules for free, which teach you pretty much everything for how to make a game for unreal engine , unreal engine 2 i think , awesome stuff. So dont judge your beggining material , everyone has to start from basic to complex , no one starts modeling unreal 3 characters from the get go. Good luck man.

you made the smae mistake i have done countless times, your texture does not tile properly, and you should wrap it more at the moment the blocks are way to big. try this texture, it is tileable but i have yet to dirty it up.
Why does everyone like dolphins?

Oh noooo I appreciate the links but as far as humanoid modeling I will never do that. I really enjoy buildings for some reason

It's a very very very... simple model, this is a default one in 3ds Max 8 I think Besides that, I voted you should keep on modeling because out of this object we can't judge your skills if you know what I mean. The experiance of modeling will increase when modeling more objects but start small but not too small --> block Cheers Frazzle
