very good work! I went skiing a few days ago, and I thought too about making a skiing game. The track reminds me very much of the places were I went skiing. Just less dangerous I think in germany you would need a licence to use the word "winter olympics" for a sports game.

Hey...
Thanks for all the great advice!
I do realize that my skier model is not yet up to par... Oliver... Is there any chance you can help me with this...
I have spen the majority of my time with the terrain concept.. And not enough time with the skier model although I am almost 100 percent happy with the Heli model...
If you guys watch the other videos you will see other aircraft in use over Vancouver with a not yet rendered terrain...
I have the code set so that all you have to do is bump into another model to turn into that model...
Anyways... Thanks for the comments! Paul

Well, ICRDesign, I´m happy that you liked my comments, but, in fact you deserve them all ! I really think this project rocks, its unique in various aspects. Answering your questions, I´m from Santo Andre city, Sao Paulo state. Things in Brazil are by now getting better. Sorry for the non-working picture link, at the time I was posting that worked. will try again with this similar one : Maybe with high speed the blades could form a complete circle, looking transparent. When stopping they could change to normal blades, rotating ´till stoped. I would like to help in your project if you need. Best regards, Carlos

Hi ICR,
I really think you did a great job on that. Making huuuuge worlds with 80 fps in 600 mode, its incredible. Keep it up!
Yeah! IE sucks, use Mozilla... Marc Rémillard.

Hey Carlos...
I checked out your area on Google Earth... If I have the right area it looks like your very close to the "Tropic of Capricorn", Very interesting, I never checked out that part of South America... Anyways, your concept of through code, switching to a translucent circle was at one point thought about. It is beyond me... but I realize it should be that way... Any ideas??? Your offer to assist with this project is very kind...Thank you...So far, I have done all the work myself.
I believe everyone and anyone should always work on what they want to work on... I would never ask someone to work on what they have no desire to work on...
So, what would you like to help me with? As you can see from the responses - there are numourse things that need tweeking... My model (from the "Bones Demo" by Oliver2s) i find to be an excellent bones model... I am not neither a modeler or an animator... although I managed to get her working in my project...
I have the terrain completly figured out... as I said, it is only a matter of data... Let me know how you think we shoud proceed... And, thanks for your help... BTW... I am not a greedy SOB... When I am in such a position, I will share, especially with those who help just to help.... Thanks, Paul
