I've written those before, not with 3DGS but with my own custom engine. You probably know this already, but just be aware of how much work goes into RPGs. Though I do think it would be cool to write one. If you're looking for a guy to write the full-blown combat system, just send me an e-mail.

I think there's a lot of interest in the RPG genre but the templates work for shooters so that's what a lot of people end up making.
