Hello Friends,

i am using 3DGS for a while.
I have two questions..
i am using 3dsmax , maya to create the game models. can 3DGameStudio handle models with some smoothness , i mean.. with some more polygons. ?
(i know lowpoly models are better to games.)

also when i loading 3ds,x,etc models in other few game engines / languages. it is loading with the material colors.. but in the 3DGS MED its loading with just a white color.

for example i have a car Model,my model have 3 colors for each part of objects.
Body : red
Wheel : black
Glass : Light Blue

What is the (best) way to load them with those colors ?
do i need to spent few time to create UV Map Textures with that colors ?

can i use 3DGS [ Materials { } ] function to color the object ?

Thank You For Your Answers.

Regards

its working fine in New Updated Version Of 3DGS.

There are new Material Settings in MED. and new .MDL format will save the material
data within the .MDL file too..

Thanks !
