Not sure, if this is the right place for posting this ...

I installed the A7 upgrade that I just purchased (7.02.4) and decided to also download the Lite-C tutorial.

When I follow the Lite-C tutorial, the first lesson is to call up small.c (from the work directory) and run it. When I try to run it, SED gives me the error :
Main Script not found - check Preferences

So, I check the prefs and find the appropriate field ... but what am I supposed to enter there ?

Sorry, if I'm just being dense , but I've got the feeling I missed something ...

Cheers,
Andreas

You must type or browse [...] the main file at preferences. So if your main file is called mygame.c and you saved it on drive C inside the directory TheCode\Game1 then you must add ->

C:\TheCode\Game1\mygame.c (your address can be different if you saved the .c file elsewhere in another directory)

Note: You can also set Lite-C so that it will always execute the document your are currently viewing. I don't like it much, but you can use it if you like.

OK .. now I understand ... thanks for clarifying that !

But that should be written in the manual (tutorial) because a novice will spend a lot of time to find that out and may even get frustrated
Or SED should be configered by default (installation) that it runs the current file...

[edit] oh, I see it's in the lite-c workshop... But in Workshop2, so you will have a problem with workshop1 to run...
