well I dont really understand the fuss here. Lite-C has Pure mode and Legacy mode. I guess Pure mode is exactly like programming in C-script..isn't it ? When you say "C-script compiler will go away in the future", does it mean that the Pure mode (with C-script style functions,variables) will also go ?
